Irreplaceable

Can you see?
What you’re doing to me?
I’m falling deeper and deeper,
Than I have ever before,
I’m falling in love with you.

I remember what you said to me:
If you’re alone,
I’ll be your shadow,
If you want to cry,
I’ll be your shoulder,
If you need to be happy,
I’ll be your smile.

Enough to make anyone cry,
Enough to make me see,
Enough to make me want to fly away.

Those words seem to echo,
Bounce off the walls of my mind.
Those words seem to stick,
Like gum on a shoe.

I just want you to know,
That even though I say I love you,
I will never be able to show you,
How much that is,
All the words in this world will never describe it,
Nor break it.

I just want you to know,
You are perfect for me,
My one and only.

I just want you to know,
You give me butterflies,
Every time you smile.

I just want you to know,
That you will always be one thing to me,
One thing that may scar me forever.

You are,
Irreplaceable…
