My Heart has come Undone.
SighAt last my poor heart has come undone
I shall be the past, for I have a home of none
Don’t try to test me with your witty skills
For, as I say I cannot partake in your thrills
Breath
I know what it once was
Or could be, but was an abrupt pause
This ordeal was an old fashioned riddle
Of lost words, with blame always in the middle
Huff
Don’t be a bother! This love is unfair!
I shan’t be held accountable for this burden to bare
This was more than I thought, but it’s not up to you
You had a good and plenty fair share too.
Whisper
If you wanted it so much, why wouldn’t you speak?
It would have been lovely to hear, at miseries peak
But don’t you dare bother, for it is now gone
Because, at last my poor heart has come undone.
