Time to awake

I can’t think with all the pounding
my whole body throbbing
there’s so much screaming
silenced only by the blood in my ears
the blows are coming slower now
as her body becomes tired
my tears become heavier
as her grin becomes wider
my mind brings me peace
as I slip into unconsciousness

I awake to find myself sprawled out on the bed, blood draining from several places on my body. Bruised and battered I get out of bed for tomorrow is my turn
