The Truth of Lies
Why do we lie?In fact, why do we even try?
What's the point?
There's so many people that your going to disappoint.
Didn't you know that it hurts to be lied to?
Knowing that you couldn't handle the truth if someone told you?
And yet we still do it.
Is it really that hard to admit?
Lie to me once.
Do you really think that will give you a bunce?
Lie to me twice,
and I won't be nice.
But lie to me the third time,
and it will be the gun I will prime.
I'm fucking sick of being lied to,
but what am I suppose to do?
I'm too blind to see,
that your really lying to me.
Please don't lie,
I want to know why.
Why do you lie?
What is there to deny?
Yes, I know it's life,
but lying will only bring strife.
Please don't lie,
nothing good will come if you do.
Go ahead and the person you lie to will wonder why,
and you'll be the one who's going to get hurt too...
