For Once.

You say your sad,
but you don't look at me.
You don't look at us,
and how we've pushed you away,
we live a life filled with hate.
You can't keep blaming us,
for everything that goes wrong.
The fine from the crash,
or the untidy state of your house.
Why do you criticize us,
Criticize what we want to do.
You say were stupid for the things we choose,
But you don't realize a thing.
I love you, i do,
and i never forget that,
i never forget how much you do for us,
but sometimes i think you've forgotten us,
I think you don't love us anymore
and as you storm down the hall i cringe,
hoping that if i don't move,
you'll walk right by my door.
You usually do,
always heading into someone else's room.
And i lie about what i do when you ask,
and you never suspect a thing.
Just for one night i want you to stop.
Stop the yelling,
Stop the blame.
And show us you still love us.
Please, it might be what saves me.
