I don’t understand
How can you hurt me this way
When I stood by you everyday

I was always there for you
I gave everything that I had
I did everything I could do

How can you leave me here with a shattered heart
Battered, broken and all alone
I stand here now with no place to call home

I don’t understand
I thought we were happy the way we were
But now you are leaving me for her

I want you back
But deep down inside I know
The right thing to do is let you go
