Coming Home.

The day I found out you were coming home,
My heart skipped a beat,
And I couldn’t believe this was happening to me.
All the sudden,
I had the energy to eat,
And the strength to sleep.
Everything just fell right into place,
And I had a reason to live once again.
Now I just wait for your arrival.
But it’s okay.
Knowing you’ll be home soon,
I’ll be able to pull through.
The moment you come back into my arms,
I will know I am safe and secure.
I look forward to the future,
Cause that future, is just me and you.
