Eternal Love

Heart of hearts like a dance in the sky,
Soul of souls like a night in a day of a one in love,
Dark dreams of horrors unknown,
Hiding in the embrace of a love so strong.

She weeps and weeps for her lover’s only kiss,
Her heats aches for her lover’s only touch,
Wrapped in shame and disgust,
She flees her haven and reveals all.

All secrets; all shames,
Laying her heart out on a whim,
Vulnerable and alone she pleads her case,
Dying inside slowly to have just a single chance more.

Begging on hands and knees,
She waits in the dark for her knights final verdict,
Kisses and hugs won’t save her now,
She believes in herself and her eternal love.

Love in the end is all she wishes for her own sake,
Happiness is everything she wishes and more for her knight.

Watching from chains of her inner hell she recounts all,
Their first meeting,
The times her heart sped up in nervous flutters,
Sights that only can be seen through the eyes of one in love,
Everything about her knight shines like a burning star,
A flame so bright that even she cannot bare to see up close.

Her knight is everything to her,
Air that she breathes is nothing compared to her soul mate,
Life without him is a scum filled world doomed to eternal damnation,
There is no heaven without him there by her side.

So she waits in agony and anguish for her love’s true heart’s desire,
All she could ever hope for was his happiness,
Not even her own is as important as his is to her anymore,
Life is not life without him.

I love you, Doug.
