Sparkle

My eyes wander,
Tiny travelers etched into my skull.
They are free and wide,
Though hiding something inside.

I watch you walk,
Each stride simpler.
As if you know I'm watching,
As if you know I care.

Our mouths form miniature smiles,
Our faces growing brightly.
I blush as I watch you stride forward,
And you can't hide your small grin.

We are secret,
Though we aren't both sure of it.
I think you like me,
Even if it's only a tiny bit.

I think I need you,
In a little way.
You are brilliant,
Your skin cannot contain your shine.
