Don't Look Back

Why is it when I hear your name, or anything close, my heart hurts?

I hate it. I would say I hate you,
But I don't. I love you, and that's why all of this is happening.
It's because I don't want to hurt you.
I want you to be happy,
and do all the things I can't do on my own.

The only thing I ask is this.
Please don't forget me,
for I will never forget you.
How can I when you're on my mind at every
waking
moment?

Be happy,
be free.
Fly away, and don't look back.
Just please, keep me alive in your thoughts.
