Love and Peace on Earth

Break down all the windows, hurt all the walls
Inside the image is the golden key
Flowing down like a war, an impersonal hell
With the devil’s script like a baby girl
An omnipresent being destroying the love
Like the day light destroys the night
Sinking in ignorance and local despair
Depression the lack of hope, love, and peace
Like a microscope to the deathly marbles
Speaking to an old Greek philosopher
Sitting with me by the long highway
Sinking in our own for of self effacing apathy
Imploring the flame to but burn elsewhere
Hoping for this love, this peace on earth
When flowers can grown out of cannons
And people can live in the present
No digging for the future, resenting the past
If we only had love and peace on earth
