Finally...

I get so confused
The messages are never clear
sometimes I think you've used
all the excuses you could probably use my dear

And now I wait..in faith
and hopefully that day will come around
When I'll finally hear the sound

of your voice, your laugh
everything that sets me back
one day, you'll see
there is so much more to me
than you'll ever know
then true feelings will show

Your smile turns into a frown
I stand up, but then I sit right back down
To watch your face
Hoping that the frown will be replaced
Hoping that's the case

The sun..goes down
softly with no one around
the light
shines brightly on the boy I long to see
Is he thinking of me?

I wait..on air
dreaming of that one day you will see
And maybe dream of me
