Sunsets

The rushing sounds of water,
As waves breaking off in a distance,
In and out,
Free to wonder the ocean,
Together we are,
Among the shorelines,
As the sun kisses the earth,
Disappearing in shades of colorful lights,
We watch in amazement,
As colors never seen closely,
To wonder about the beauty itself,
As it fades,
The stars come out to play,
Tears are wiped away,
Smiles are presented,
In the dark as we see the last remaining lights,
We count our blessings for being by each others side to witness such beauty.
