fade away

it's not hard to let go
when you remember all the negatives
instead of lifes show
it is cold outside
and i am wondering why
i feel so alone and empty inside
the darkness closes in
as i start to fade away
from all the liquior and medication
i start to feel better now
as my breathing slows
soon i will be out of this town
and in a different world
