Leaving life

Oh, how I wish,
I could just leave life,
Just get away,
Leave all this strife.

Find a new place,
Start a new slate,
Create my own song,
Make my own fate.

Then life will be easy,
Life would be free,
Life would be mine,
I could be me.

Now I just wait,
For that one day,
