Broken Wings
I’m tired of trying to be right,When no matter what I’m wrong,
I’m close to giving up this fight
And I can’t bear hearing anymore love songs…
How is it that I can never make you smile?
You always need my full attention
Or you throw a fit for awhile
I’m in desperate need of some affection.

Just from the way you yell and treat me…
I’m treated poorly and walked on like dirt,
No more love and joy
Just manipulated and hurt
You’re broken toy…
But no more,
I’ll stand on my own
Because even if I have nothing worth living for,
I’m not afraid to face this world alone…
Because how can I miss you if you never were here?
You forced me to grow up and be strong,
I won’t cry for you, not a tear,
Because I was alone all along.
