Just Say No

She gazed into his eyes
As he kissed her lightly on the lips
Trusting him became a mistake
It was a risk she was willing to take
"She is pregnant"
A doctor announces to her family
All mouths gaping at her
They didn't expect this to happen
How could they trust her again?
When the child's father knew
He broke her heart by leaving her for another
She turned to her friends knowing they'd understand
But they rejected her
Lonely, she became
A broken-soul shattered in a million pieces lied inside her
Tears of sorrow washed upon her face
Without thinking, she killed herself
As I tell this poem to you, dear daughter
I hope you understand why you should say
"No"
