We Are the Children

We Are the Children

We are the children,
Who grow in this world.
We are grown from the corn,
Bred to take the world’s weight.

We are the children
Built to suffer,
Built to love,
Built to shake the world we live in

We are the children,
Who bend the rules.
Tearing down the walls,
Breaking the chains that bind us.

We are the children,
You cannot break us.
We will fight,
We will die

We are the children.
The movers,
The shakers,
And we don't care what They think

We are the children.
We are here to change the world,
Fix the wrongs,
And make the rights.

We are the children.
We may bend,
But our souls will not be broken,
Because We are the children.
