The Rose

A crimson red the petal bares;
A love everyone shares.
This flower has one flaw,
The thorns that are like a claw.
They cut and scar the skin,
The pain makes you wish you’d never been.
But the beauty of the rose is far more influential;
It appears in life to be essential.
Pain comes with beauty;
This is true in the case of the rose and in life.
