Drowning in Your Own Puddle

You sit there,
Behind a building,
Crying your eyes out,
Your face is bright red,
And anyone that crosses your path stares at you,
And all they do is stare,

Why?
Because you let jerks get inside you,
They know you're an easy target,
And they see that as an opportunity,
It's cruel,
But it's true,

All you do is sit there,
Drowning in your own puddle of tears,
For nothing,
You could be doing something amazing with your life,
But no,
You let jerks get the best of you,

If you didn't get torn apart by them,
You wouldn't have to deal with random people,
Staring at you in broad daylight,
The only thing that matters is you,
Don't let people control your emotions,
Or you'll be miserable the rest of your life,

So get up and dissolve those fresh tears,
It's your destiny,
Not anyone elses,
Say no to jerks,
Say yes to a future,
And you will never drown in your own puddle ever again.
