Life Savings

In a cross between two evils,
they may look like people
who know just how to keep my demons out.
I am squeezing, the strangled voice of reason,
I know that I have no way to help you out
When I am bloodshed, I fight, dissolve the blood clot
I try to keep the truth for seeping out.
Even when I see you, in a mirror, iced out igloo,
I stifle my words to hush a shout.
I sleep in nowhere's home now.
I drown in ankle deep water spouts.
