My plastic smile
My heart beats.As you look.
It jumps.
It sputters.
Just a tad.
Your like an adrenaline rush.
My stomach flips, For the way you smile.
Dreams, I dream.
But can never remember.
What you did, What you said.
Its frustrating,
Your lack of attention, To the obvious.
Every hurtful name
Each nasty remark
I cried, And you saw.
Saying im sorry, Means nothing.
If you dont know why your saying it.
I've got my whole life, To fall.
It just came early.
And, Its not an equal match.
Your feelings are so strong, Toward her.
Its ok,
I will act like its not a big thing, when im crumbling inside.
So, I will sit here, And paste the plastic smile apon my face,
And pretend everything is great.
And I wil sit, As I fall, And break.
But, my smile will never be removed.
I can pretend forever..
