Slowly Fade to Nothing

I'm caught in that dream.
A repeat.
Trying to hide.
Keep pulling off the headphones.
Trying to leave but can't.
I keep getting pulled in.
Pulled in by the words.
By the things unknown.
By the room in which we enter when we talk.
The room that is bigger then the world.
I wish not to escape but I know I must.
The only way to end without pain is time.
Wait for the silence that will slowly fade to nothing.
Wait for the moment when we are both looking the other way.
Walk away never to look back.
Open the door and leave that room forever.
Never to return.
