Pretend

She doesn't laugh because she's happy.
She doesn't play because it's fun.
She doesn't eat because it taste's good.
She doesn't listen to music to dance.
She doesn't sleep to dream.
She laugh's to fool them, hide her pain.
She play's to fool them, hide the real game.
She eats to fool them, hide what she's hungry for.
She listen's to music to fool them, hide from the silence.
She sleeps and prays that death will take her.
