A Lesson To Be Learned.

Let the fire blaze, let the world burn to ash.
No one can control this outbreak of flames.
A wild thing that made them panic in fear.
Their mindless screams won't be heard by the Gods.
They'll learn their lesson, one they'll never forget.
Only the strong will survive the fiery demons that rage.
The rest will burn, but the innocent will be spared.
From the black dirt there will rise a new world of life.
The skies will be clear, as will the eyes of mankind.
The air they will breathe will clear their minds of the old.
They now know not to devour the gift they have been given.
The lesson has been learned.
