Broken Beyond Repair

Broken Beyond Repair

They say 'Time heals all wounds',
Whoever said that lied.
If time healed all wounds,
I wouldn't feel this way,
Each day wouldn't feel,
Like I'm walking on shattered glass,
I wouldn't feel like I have nothing to say.
If time heals all wounds,
I wouldn't feel like I'm fading away.

If time heals all wounds,
Then I wouldn't feel this pain,
Just thinking of all the truths in your lies.
I wouldn't feel like the world is passing me by,
Leaving me behind.

If time heals all wounds,
I wouldn't flinch every time I hear your name,
I wouldn't cry myself to sleep,
Reminding myself of all the memories I keep.
If time heals all wounds,
I wouldn't feel this way.

I wish it were true,
I want time to heal my wounds,
But it isn't healing me.

Time may be able to heal some wounds,
But my heart can't be fixed,
Because you can't fix something,
That's broken beyond repair.
