No Matter What I Do

Running down empty streets,
Through the pouring rain,
Breathing jagged and hard,
Tears falling to the ground,
There's nowhere to hide.

No matter how loud I scream,
How hard I cry,
How hard I fight,
How long I bleed,
My problems always catch up to me.

I can't keep running,
Lying to myself,
Now matter what I do,
I can't outrun my problems.

Conflicts are meant to be solved,
The more you run away from them,
They harder they hit,
The more they hurt.

No matter how loud I scream,
How hard I cry,
How hard I fight,
How long I bleed,
My problems always catch up to me.

No matter what I do,
In the end,
I have to face the truth.
