I'm Not That Girl

I see the way he looks at you
I see the way he whispers in your ear, as you laugh
I see the way he wraps his arms around you
And I know I’m not that girl.

I hear the flirty messages
I hear about the cutest thing he did today
I hear the nick names
And I’m dying on the inside

I know I’m not the prettiest girl,
But can’t we just look past that?

I know I can be random,
But aren’t we all?

I know I laugh a lot
But I can be serious if you need me to be.

I’ll always be here for you.
I hope you know that.

I also want you to know that,
Knowing I’m not that girl,
Is killing me on the inside
