Why must you be so judgmentaljust because i'm different
don't call me what you think i am
you don't even know me you barley know my name
I don't deserve all the dirty looks and glares,
so willingly passed on to me
I didn't do anything to you
so what if I like different stuff than you
just because I don't listen to rap or dress in aero pastel
you ask why I called you those things
you deserved everything
it was my defense
you can't just do something to me then act like it never happened
everbody looks at us differently
we don't deserve to be judged
just because we're different
we are broken searching for our innocence
we don't hide away how we feel
we let the wounds on our insides show freely
we are not ashamed we have done nothing wrong
we will not be considered the weak
we are the brave ones
not caring what they think let them think
let them waste their life away
trying to think of more reasons of why we're different
while we move along
not wanting to know what they think
not caring what they think
uncomprehending why we must be exiled from society
but, we have our own way to cope
you have the same thoughts as me
but for different reasons
you don't let anybody know how you feel,
and it makes you want to explode
we wear our emotions on are sleeves,
and still want to explode
no one understands
and no one cares
no one wants to help
we are not so different
but because they have nothing better to do with their time,
they choose to dump their emotions on us
causing us to break down
they have no life
and I would enjoy it severley
if you got a life
and left me alone
so I can live my life without worrying everyday about you taking it away,
for you
it's not for the taking
it's my life
