Alone in the darkness
Wishing for the answers
Wishing for the things that you never thought would come
A time to ask the questions
while looking for existence
In the lonely abyss you call your day

Fill in the gaps of life
Take in a breath of air
Wash out the blackness in your lungs
Smooth out the rough bits
Turn up the tunes
And crank up the stereo

Shout out for many smiles
Increase the volume of laughter
Because you know that you found peace when you found them
