Fragile

You can triturate me
just seeing you puts me under pressure, like a murderous tsunami
you can demolish me with a quick corrupt glance
just touching you singes my skin

I fear you'll take advantage
because I'm so feeble as I stutter my words
I fear you'll seek something of value
because I'm worthless as I fall before your feet

I don't know how you can embrace me
but you almost make me feel welcome
I don't know how you can love me
but you almost make me feel loved

A word from your mouth
can fragmentize me into segments
a touch from your skin
can cause me to plunge into the dark abyss

I'm too dependent
I can't persist without you
I'm too emotive
I can't exist now that you're gone
