Here's to the story where nothing goes wrong,
here's to the words of the last stupid love song

Here's to the poem of the blossoming rose
here's to the three words everyone knows

Here's to the hearts of crushed little girls
here's to the birds who's wings can't uncurl.

Here's to the lost who's life's been led astray
here's to them, cause they can't find their way

Here's to the people who are suffering deep
here's to those who know nothing is for keeps

Here's to the tears in the world being shed
here's to the broken who can't get out bed

Here's to the depressed who bleed every day
here's to the one with whom love wouldn't stay

Here's to the heartbroken who can't help but cry
here's to the murdered who'll never know why.

Here's to the bloody that hide through the night
here's to the lonely who were never held tight.

Here's to the hands that are meant to hold
here's to the homeless who always are cold

Here's to the fake smiles on the face of the weak
here's to the rain, mixing with tears on her cheek.

Here's to the children that lay there, asleep
here's to the daring who take that big leap.

Here's to the girls with no self-esteem
here's to the sun with it's bright golden beams.

Here's to the lies, so sweet, so soft,
here's to the tragedies at which the world scoffed.

Here's to the innocent, so pretty, so sweet,
here's to the dramatic that the world mistreats.

Here's to the world that's too wild, too proud,
here's to the wars with bullets ringing loud

Here's to the music, it fills rooms to the brim,
here's to the writer, the world needs him.

Here's to the glass, always broken and shattered
here's to everything that never really mattered.

Here's to the wrists that many times bled
here's to the suicide, so many, all dead.

Here's to the jewelry, it can show someone's love,
here's to the needy, they're abused, hit, and shoved.

& last, here's to everyone who's cheated or hurt
or had their heart broken by him or a flirt

Here's to you, just remember, there's someone who understands,
and remember, you'll find someone special to hold your hand.
