Nightmares [Dos.]
I woke up with frightMy head was spinning from being half asleep
And trying to make out the strange vision I'd just seen
I shrugged it off and calmed myself down
And I lay down to sleep once again
Two years later, the dream long forgotten
Running through town, minding my own business
I look up and terrors all around
I watch, eyes wide with shock
As the whole world goes crashing down
I close my eyes, and my heart stops
As I realize my silly little bad dream from years ago
Has just become a grim reality.
