Sleepless
Exhaustion from to many tears poured from meTired from arguments and imagination
Dreamland is beckoning to me, enchanting my body
Her sultry voice, and curvy body whispering against me
Tears of an different kind peaking at my eyelids
Asking to be let out as each yawn erupts
Body begging, need to be laid down, to lay straight
Eyes are now bleeding blood, so asking for sleep
Sleep... Sleep.. Sleep
How this wondrous word eludes my mouth,
It discourages my tongue from caressing it's curves
As it evades my lips, it evades my body and needs
Fluttering close, causing yawns, fluttering away, causing yawns
Temping seductress of my body, stealthy in running
One day, nay, one hour I shall have you within my grasp
Wither at first in dismay, purr close next to my skin
Finally please me, love me, eyes close and sleep no longer eludes
