Pride in your God

Lights are bright,
the air is cold
I turn down the heat;
and the truth I behold.
The walls are collapsing,
the doors are all closed...
my world falls apart,
with the razor I own.
it shines,
though it's dark,
as I turn off the light;
and I look at the man,
who is clear in my sight.
He threatens to shoot,
if I don't do my job,
and end my own life,
because I have pride
in my God.

Happiness leaves,
as my vision goes grey,
and the agony leaks through--
but it's just the decay;
of a soul that he lacks,
my heart won't relax...
as he screams to cut faster...
my world has gone black.

Opening eyes,
the click of his gun...
the bullets were blank,
and his eyes
are both stunned.
Six bullets all duds,
six lives of mine spared...
I guess God came in handy,
and I decided to run.

He saved my life once,
and I prayed to stay alive...
so I tell you my story;
take a chance
and don't cry.

You'll live to see the world,
if your faith keeps you well,
and you'll be a hero...
if his story
you tell.

--spread the word. If you love God...you'll stick up for him no matter what.
Be there when he needs you,
and he'll be there for you if you need him.
