The Poetess.

When you look at me what do you see?
A girl thats uncertain, one who doesn't know who to trust.
Lost in a hurricane of clouded emotion, and misery.
Waiting to be happy, and be proud, to stop being robust.

She colors outside of the boundarys, and reads between the lines.
She crys when she's sad, and smiles when the moon has risen,
Giggling when she sees the signs.
Happly released from her artistic prison

We all question this girl, wanting to know her flaws,
But she stays quiet about it all.
Our curosity makes her solemnly withdraw.
Watching, completly enthraled.

Her life is an open book,
Her entire life written in ink.
Even though time is going on all around you, all you do is look.
Afraid to move, or even blink.

Knowing that she can disappear.
But her words will linger.
They are what she holds dear.

Because she is a poet,
A female one at that.
Sometimes she rhymes, sometimes she's a mute.
But do not question her words, they are the truth.

Never judge a book by it's cover.....because you never know a person, untill you experince their reality.
