I am The Slayer

The darkness hides the evil rife,
The undead scourge that feed on life,
Soon they all shall feel my knife,
I am the slayer.

The streets are safe in light of day,
but at night the undead prey,
The evil that walks at dusk, I slay,
I am the slayer.

The monastary’s walls protect from it,
The water of faith, it’s soul will hit,
But no cure exists for those that are bit,
I am the slayer.

The silver stake can pierce it’s heart,
The crucifix brings a painful smart,
and should it’s head and shoulders part,
I am the slayer.
