Don't say 'I Love You'Because I can't return the favor,
'It's not you it's me' may be overused,
But in this case it rings true,
Why is it this hard to feel?
I would give you my heart in a second,
But I have nothing of the sort to give,
Thinking about it shouldn't make me cry,
Thinking about it shouldn't make me want to kill myself,
I can't go back to what I was before,
But what is happening now is tearing me apart,
How come even though I'm with you,
I still feel alone?
When I'm awake thoughts of you make me sad,
But when I dream we are perfect together,
Why can't we live in a dream?
