Hey, joker are you jokingA trick with every word?
But you’re messing with our heads and lives
You’re not just messing with verbs
Are you seeking some revenge,
On a God that served you wrong?
On a father that said you should smile more
And made you smile way too long.

I really don’t understand
Their selflessness will prove you wrong
Your hate will make them sad
Do you take the lives of others,
To try and satisfy your own?
To make your life so brilliant
So that you spend it all alone

When you say you have no plan
That you just ride along chaotically
With no intent to make a stand
Is there anything you want now,
Or do you just want harmless fun?
I knife, a coward, the stench of fear
That you don’t get from a gun.

The punch lines have gone on too long
And we’re just confused and oh so scared
And the joke? Well it’s just wrong.
