Survive

Can I survive?
This drowning sea;
Filled with my misery.

Can I survive?
Knowing you stole my heart?
Locking my life;
Holding a knife.

Stab, you did.
My heart was thin.
Broken it is.
And you turn to kin.

Can I survive?
Knowing you were in my life.
Can I survive?
Feeling like I wanna cry?

These feelings of gloom.
Need to stop soon.
Everyday, I’ll smile.
Is it real? Not in a while.

So, survive, I must.
Promises, I made lots.
No death wish for me.
Just a calming breath.

I’ll survive…
