Enjoy the scenery.

When ocean trenches come to swallow us up
I’m afraid I’ll drown,
I left my lifeline behind.
And I’m already sinking.

When the sky starts to descend and cover us in storm
I’m afraid I’ll be crushed,
I left my dreams behind.
And I’m already flattened.

When mountains start to crumble and tumble down toward us
I’m afraid I’ll suffocate,
I left my oxygen behind.
And I’m already gasping.

When great cities start to destroy themselves, fold in and collapse
I’m afraid I’ll be trapped,
I left my will power behind.
And I’m already starving.

When the ice caps are no longer melting and the ice-age begins
I’m afraid I’ll freeze,
I left my warmth behind.
And I’m already frozen.

When ferocious waves crash upon the surface of this planet
I'm afraid I'll drown,
I left my ability to learn behind.
And I'm already submerged.

I have but one answer, one explanation, but zero solutions
I’m afraid I’ll lose you,
I left you behind.
And I’m already lost.
