Colored Pencils - Wishes
When you opened up this packageYou thought one thing was clear.
They were normal pencils
Or so they should appear.
You might think some are ugly
Some might give you a shock
But one thing I am certain of
Is that you’ll use them lots
When it is your birthday
You make wishes on a cake
But today’s the day that changes
Don’t make a mistake
These are wishing pencils
Something you’ll cherish
Special items you shouldn’t lose
Or you shall certainly perish
Each one has a specialty
To help you on your way
Some rules you must consider
For some do not obey
The yellow one is arrogant
Like a popular girl at school
She doesn’t like irony
So make certain you’re not cruel
She may be an angel
Too good to be true
Yet when you need a comeback
She’ll make one up for you
The red one is waggish
Comedian to the core
An amazing vocabulary
For that you must be sure
But one piece of advice
This you must remember
He is always sleeping
In the month of September
The blue one is melodious
The singer in the shower
She has a powerful voice
Don’t over use her power
She might get you the lead
But be careful of the lights
She loves animated people
But she has stage fright
Yellow, blue, and red
Together all the time
Sagacious when together
Don’t leave one behind
The pink one is egregious
Malicious even more
She’s easy to confuse
Won’t help you raise your score
But when she holds a grudge
You’d think she had a brain
For the devil inside of her
Is anything but lame
The purple one is culpable
Excellent at clarification
Organized and neat
She wants to rule the nation
When she’s left in a locker
Only by herself
She’ll color code the binders
And even add some shelves
The orange one is spirited
Kind and dynamic
Shoot some hoops with him
He is a sports fanatic
Loving and delightful
Always knows the way
To make you smile
Each and every day
The green one is Irish
A leprechaun type guy
Don’t ask where his gold is
Or he will ask you why
A very thorough fellow
Cool, calm and collected
If you have a cut
He knows if it’s infected
Each pencil is special
Everyone unique
Each one comes from an island
In the land of Schneep
The red is in the north
They read the dictionary
They laugh all the time
No one is ever stationary
The orange inhabit the northeast
They smile everyday
They go to all the games
And always shout hurray
The yellow is in the east
No one makes decisions
No discipline for children
They never make provisions
The green is in the southeast
Big houses they provide
They always have money
And look on the bright side
The blue is in the south
With musicals everyday
They have tons of auditions
But some do not obey
The purple is in the southwest
An amorous type place
They’re always on time
And never make mistakes
The pink live in the west
A dark and dismal place
They’re atrocious in school
They never make first place
The island in the middle
Is the meeting place you know?
They make all decisions
And take care of the snow
It’s kind of like the capital
With all the monuments
They make the arrangements
For the participants
Every thirteen years
A new group is elected
To come to earth
And meet the selected
Each pencil never runs out
They never should be given
To any other person
Are you won’t be livin’
One person every thirteen years
Gets some magic pencils
Random countries
Random faces
Random language
Random races
If you meet another
Be careful what you say
For some pencils aren’t friends
And things may go awry
Previous owners of pencils
Have made the world complete
But some have been wicked
And tried to compete
Maybe you’ve heard of Schneep War 1
And the horrible conclusion
Where islands stopped
And all that was left was awful confusion
Just because two owners fought
To prove that they were best
Now our worlds are separate
And no one will protest
This simple event
So tiny and insignificant
Teaches us one thing
No one is magnificent
Although the pencils in your hand
Will make your life correct
Remember that a war was fought
So you could make an affect
Remember that they can’t
Make you live everlastingly
But they can make a place
That will last in harmony
