How do you Help a Friend Who is Abused

I watch her everyday
Try and make sure she’s okay
Her mom has so much anger
My friends life is in danger

I want to help in anyway
she wont listen to a thing I say
I ask her again and I’m ignored
She says she will if it gets any worse

I told her once twice oh I don’t know
She says its not so bad just gotta lay low
In life you shouldn’t have to hide
She just shrugs says she’s fine

Nobody cares that’s for sure
I feel so helpless nobody believes her
She doesn’t call the police anymore
It just makes everything so much worse
