Rhythm to Existance
A gentle thud,Excited flutter,
Consistant beat,
Occasional stutter.
Beats out the rhythm to existance,
Strong a soul,
Defining person,
Mal-loved,
Conditions worsen.
Sometimes needs some assistance,
Mine, a solemn sum,
Transformed,
In view of you,
To excited drum
Rely solely on it's persistance,
Lay my head,
Against your chest,
Hear your heartbeat,
Now I'll rest...
And pray that it'll cut the distance.
