BUTTERFLIES in the HALL

Walking down the school HALL
kick a locker in anger
nothings going right at all
But im still hanging in

i hear voices down the HALL
i stop in my tracks
its the guy who makes me feel so small
and some of his friends

And he walks down the HALL
BUTTERFLIES in my stomache
I feel like i'm gonna' fall
his smile makes my breath go faster

I'm starring at him in the HALL
oh why am I in love?
I'm not good enough for him at all
and yet I feel faint

He runs into me in the Hall
brushes my arm with his
I look up, he's pretty tall
He mutters an apology

I continue walking down the HALL
and smile to myself
today was quite the close call
but I'm glad my locker is in this wing
