Sliding Down

You say you're sorry. Right
I don't really want to fight

I've told you before
Friendship with her is another chore

What a parasite she has been
Her teeth were covered in tin

Her hair is devil red
And she has lead

Me to my deepest pain
Here's a fact: You can't gain

Anything good
Like you really should

Stay with me
Because you'll see

That I don't insult
When your heart starts to molt

I'll always be here
When you shed a tear

I'll run around the world
When your heart's been whirled

And I know you'd do the same
Because best friends is what we became

It's your choice
When you find your voice

Please contact
And when it's right I'll know your brain's not hacked

And you'll be grateful
And we both won't have to pull

On this rope
Sliding down the slope.
