What is Love?

What is love?
Is it a feeling or an urge?
Is it instinct or is it knowledge?
Is it logical…or spiritual?
Love is something that pulls the body in
Something that clouds the mind
Falling in love with a person
It’s an urge you can’t help
Something that pushes out of you
It is not something you think about with your head
It is something that flows from your heart
Shall I teach you?
Help you learn?
Will you accept me or reject me?
Do you love me as I love you?
Love is something wonderful
And it is something that can be easily shared
But there is one kind of love that isn’t easily shared
It is only between two people
And it is called by several names
Soul Mates
True Love
Eternal Love
An ongoing existence of a pure feeling
A pure urge that strains against the barriers of the mind
An urge that beats within the heart
This love can be a flower that has not bloomed
That is when you haven’t met your true love yet
But when you meet them your heart surges
It comes close to bursting with emotion
The flower inside your heart blooms
You’re one of two halves, part of a whole
When you meet your true love
You become whole
You blossom
You sour
Love is an urge
It is something from the heart
It is something that will never die
It is Love
