Goodbye

As tears overwhelm my eyes,
Blood trickling down my wrists,
Walking with shaking legs,
Falling and trembling in sadness and fear,
I watch you as you watch me,
Wanting to be in your embrace,
Wanting to say one last goodbye,
Saying I love you one more time,
Laying in your arms as the time goes by,
Shedding one last tear for the mistake of leaving you.
