untitled poem
If only you knewhow that thing that you said
hurt me worse than you thought
and made me cry in my head
what does she have that i don't
i wonder everyday
everyone else says i'm better
i just wish that you'd stay
things were so perfect
before she just had to call
and made you change your mind about everything
just as i was starting to fall
someday she might go away
and give you back to me
if i'm dumb enough to take you back
we'll just have to see
i know it won't be right away
it might even take me years
to feel you in my arms again
and stop these wishful tears
