Abigayle...♥ II

Days are wasted,
Hours pass,
Quarrels linger,
The Conqueror Worm meets your corpse on olive grass
To this very hour,
It pains me to see,
You lived your last day,
Hating me
Your accusations were shallow,
And I certainly don't agree,
But, still, I wish that I could say:
I love you, can't you see?
They found you by the jungle-gym,
A rope around your neck,
Your lifeless body, limp and pale,
Lack of pulse they found when they checked
Do you see now how much strife you've caused us,
The tears that we have shed,
Each breath sudden and wavering,
Haunted by things you've said?
Last night, I lay awake for hours,
Thinking this whole thing through
That was normal till I lacked any dreams,
And just wound up thinking of you
I hope that now you realize,
I've always truly cared,
Even the other night as I swore I didn't,
For, thanks to you, my heart will never be repaired
